“Heat Pump Forum 2025 – Securing Europe’s energy future“

For years, we’ve championed heat pumps as a clean technology that could transform Europe’s energy system. We’ve shown how they reduce emissions, lower energy bills, and bring real benefits to people and businesses.
But today, heat pumps are more than just a climate solution – they are a cornerstone of Europe’s energy security and sovereignty. By switching to locally-produced, renewable electricity, we cut our dependence on imported fossil fuels and take back control of our energy future.
The vision we’ve worked towards is no longer just a possibility – it’s happening now. Heat pumps are delivering on their promise. Our challenge is to go further, faster, and make them available to everyone.

Heat Pump Forum & Awards 2025 puts heat pumps at the heart of Europe’s push for energy security, sovereignty, and clean growth.
With the REPowerEU plan and the Clean Industrial Deal, the EU has made heat pumps a strategic priority – aiming to install around 20 million units by 2026 and nearly 60 million by 2030.
Expanding the use of heat pumps is essential to cut fossil fuel dependency in homes, buildings, and industry. Accelerating deployment means ramping up production, boosting consumer confidence, and unlocking investment – because the faster we act, the stronger and more resilient Europe becomes.

The Heat Pump Forum aims to be an event that widens one’s horizons when it comes to meeting our common objectives for the planet and its people. It is a convention in which different relevant thought leaders gather around to exchange visions, knowledge and expertise to expand the role of Heat Pump Technologies in our society within the context of the European Green Deal.
Europe needs a heat pump strategy and the industry an EU heat pump accelerator to speed up deployment and help Europeans get off fossil gas faster.
By bringing together high-level policy-makers, major players of the heating and cooling industry, influencers from related stakeholders the Heat Pump Forum‘s aim is to act as a co-creation platform for the heat pump strategy and accelerator.
