“Heat Pump Forum 2024 – Heat Pumps: competitive clean tech for all Europeans

The future of heat pumps
is now

For years we have proven Heat Pump technologies’ potential as the key enabler for a future renewable, sustainable and smart energy system. For years we have believed that the way to accomplish the energy transition is by working as a community to fulfill our goals.

For years our ambition has guided us to achieve the unachievable, to reach what years ago seemed a dream of the future. Now, when we look back to our path, we realize that today is the future we strived for.

“Heat Pumps: competitive clean tech for all Europeans” Heat Pump Forum & Award 2024 puts heat pumps at the centre of the green, digital, cost-effective energy transition and industrial transformation.

The European Commission’s REPowerEU plan builds on the ambitious heat pump targets it set out in March. Those targets require around 20 million heat pumps to be installed in the EU by 2026 and nearly 60 million by 2030.

Expanding the use of heat pumps is crucial for reducing use of fossil gas in heating and cooling for homes, buildings and industry. In REPowerEU, the European Commission sets a target of doubling the deployment rate, and refers to ramping up equipment production and facilitating access to finance.

Let's come together
inspire and drive change

The Heat Pump Forum aims to be an event that widens one’s horizons when it comes to meeting our common objectives for the planet and its people. It is a convention in which different relevant thought leaders gather around to exchange visions, knowledge and expertise to expand the role of Heat Pump Technologies in our society within the context of the European Green Deal.

Europe needs a heat pump strategy and the industry an EU heat pump accelerator to speed up deployment and help Europeans get off fossil gas faster.

By bringing together high-level policy-makers, major players of the heating and cooling industry, influencers from related stakeholders the Heat Pump Forum‘s aim is to act as a co-creation platform for the heat pump strategy and accelerator.

The Heat Pump Forum is taking place in person at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel in Brussels. Its intention is to explore the sector opportunities from a holistic approach to exceed our commitment to reach a fully decarbonised Europe before 2050. It has set its sight to be the perfect gathering to get inspired and to inspire others, but above all, to foster together the ideas that will drive a change.

A 100% renewable society is possible with heat pumps!

Let's celebrate together EHPA's
